Prosthesis Types For Breast Cancer

August 15th, 2007

Prostheses may come in many different shapes and sizes. This will enable a woman to get the right one for her. The materials they are made of can include: foam, fiberfill or silicone gel. The lightweight models are ideal following surgery since they are the most comfortable while the patient heals. They’re also preferred for water activities and warmer weather. The silicone ones are popular because of the more life-like feel and the way they will sit in and look better in some types of clothing.
